Student Leadership

At Gems Founders School Al Mizhar, the development of lifelong leadership skills is one of many learning opportunities offered to all students. From Year 1, students have the opportunity to apply for a wide range of official student leadership positions. 

Having effective Student Leaders supports the development of responsible learners, gives pupils a voice in decision-making as part of school improvement, and supports in creating a positive school environment. As stated in our school’s vision statement, the opportunities at GEMS Founders School Al Mizhar should inspire students to strive to be the future leaders of tomorrow’s world. 

 

Our Aim

Our purpose at GFM is to ensure all students are fully supported and encouraged to:

  • Develop their leadership skills to prepare them for future opportunities
  • Hold the highest standards of respect towards others and the environment
  • Strive for an inclusive community at GFM
